Data Steward – Biometrics & Health Data

Danone’s Global Research & Innovation Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Steward – Biometrics & Health Data to join the Biometrics & Health Data team. This role is pivotal in supporting and shaping the Data Governance framework across clinical and Real World Evidence (RWE) studies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that data assets are accurate, accessible, and aligned with regulatory and scientific standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion and operationalize Danone’s Data Governance framework within the Biometrics department, focusing on stewardship, data quality, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Clinical Data Management, Statistical Programming, Biostatistics, and Digital Health teams to define and implement data standards, metadata models, and data access protocols.
• Ensure data integrity and traceability across the lifecycle of clinical and RWE studies—from protocol design to post-study reuse.
• Maintain and evolve data dictionaries, catalogs, and classification systems to support evidence generation and regulatory readiness.
• Conduct regular data audits and quality assessments to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement.
• Support the integration of digital tools and AI-enabled processes for data capture, validation, and secondary use.
• Act as a liaison between Biometrics & Health Data, IT, and external partners to align on data architecture and data governance practices.
• Support the global business data owner accountable for health data through data documentation and insights.
• Connect with other data stewards within the Danone network and stay attuned with the corporate Data Governance framework.

About you

• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Informatics, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data stewardship, data governance, or clinical data management within a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial data, RWE methodologies, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, GxP).
• Familiarity with data standards such as CDISC, OMOP or HL7.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, structured, and passionate about data quality and innovation.
