Manufacturing Planner

JBT Marel is looking for a proactive and analytical Manufacturing Planner to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the availability of production materials and supporting efficient planning of people, resources, and components required for our machine manufacturing operations.

You will act as an important coordinator across multiple departments, working closely with the shop floor, production management, engineering, purchasing, and external suppliers to ensure smooth production planning and delivery performance.

What you’ll be doing

• Monitor outstanding production orders to ensure delivery timelines and quality standards are met.
• Manage the rejects and returns process, ensuring issues are prioritised and resolved efficiently.
• Maintain and manage Master Data, ensuring accurate system data to support planning and operational processes.
• Analyse demand inputs and identify potential risks or opportunities to support prioritisation and decision-making.
• Manage inventory levels and support the execution of effective inventory management strategies.
• Monitor key supplier performance indicators, including delivery reliability, lead times, and risk of obsolescence.
• Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation initiatives, including exception management, supplier improvements, and Kaizen or RCI projects.

You are an analytical and organised supply chain professional who enjoys coordinating across teams and solving operational challenges. You bring a structured approach to planning and are comfortable working in a dynamic production environment where priorities can shift quickly.

You communicate effectively across departments, build strong working relationships, and maintain focus on delivering results that support both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Experience & Qualifications

• HBO working and thinking level (higher professional education).
• Several years of relevant experience in Supply Chain processes such as planning or inventory control is preferred.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Ability to read technical drawings and affinity with manufacturing processes such as welding or machining is an advantage.
• Experience working in multicultural, multidisciplinary organisations is beneficial.
• Knowledge of production planning and supply chain coordination within manufacturing environments.
