Junior Product and Portfolio Manager Livestock

What are you going to do?

As a Junior Product & Portfolio Manager within our Livestock business unit, you contribute to the further development of one of our key digital twin solutions: the Cow Monitoring Platform (Nedap CowControl – Dairy Farming). With this platform, we help dairy farmers worldwide improve animal welfare, productivity and sustainability.

You support the development of our product strategy and roadmap. Together with experienced colleagues, you translate market insights, partner feedback and technological developments into clear priorities and well-substantiated choices. In a dynamic environment, you help create scalable solutions that make a real difference on farms across the globe.

In this role, you gradually grow into a position where you help shape how our solutions are developed, positioned and brought to market — always with a strong focus on value creation and long-term impact.

Your responsibilities

Product strategy

Contribute to defining and refining the product vision and roadmap for the Cow Monitoring Platform.

Product direction

Convert market developments and partner feedback into concrete product improvements and priorities.

Business cases

Help develop and assess business cases, including financial substantiation.

Transparent decision-making

Structure complex topics and make trade-offs explicit and understandable for stakeholders.

Collaboration

Connect sales, R&D, support and external partners to align on product direction and execution.

Go-to-market execution

Contribute to positioning and launching new features and solutions in the market.

Your team

Within Product & Portfolio Management (PPM), you will work on the core of our product strategy and the portfolio of our solutions. PPM forms the connecting link between market, technology and business. The team consists of three streams: Cow Monitoring Platform, Integrated Farm Solutions and Business Support. Together, the Product Managers ensure that our solutions and roadmaps fit together seamlessly and reinforce each other.

You will work closely with colleagues from the broader Strategy & Business Transformation group, which also includes Business Transformation, Pricing & Revenue Management and Market Intelligence. In addition, you will have intensive contact with international colleagues and partners who are close to our end users in the focus countries, as well as with account managers, solution owners and product owners. In this way, we harness the full power of Nedap to better support our customers every day.

Required skills

We are looking for a curious and structured professional who is eager to grow within product management and strategy.

• 0–3 years of experience, or a strong interest, in guiding strategic decision-making in a multidisciplinary context;
• Affinity with working at the intersection of commercial, support and R&D teams;
• Ability — or strong motivation to learn — to translate customer and partner insights into concrete solution directions;
• Structured way of working and the ability to make choices explicit and visually clear;
• Interest in building and understanding business cases, including financial analysis;
• Affinity with go-to-market challenges and connecting technical delivery with market introductions;
• Ability to maintain overview, explore different scenarios and provide direction with guidance from senior colleagues;
• Affinity with dairy farming, agricultural technology or industrial partnerships is a strong plus.
