Junior Software Engineer with C++ experience

The Position

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a V.I.E Junior Software Engineer with C++ experience to join our team and contribute to ongoing client projects in Eindhoven.

As V.I.E Junior Software Engineer, your main tasks will include:

• Support the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications using C++.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, contribute to front-end and/or back-end development tasks, write clean and efficient code, fix bugs, and participate in code reviews.
• Learn best practices, improve technical skills, and gain hands-on experience in building reliable and scalable software solutions.

Your Profile

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science and a relevant degree.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in C++ (high-performance systems, embedded, real-time applications).
• Fluent in English.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge on building scalable, maintainable systems.
• Comfortable working in collaborative, agile teams and hybrid settings.

The requirements for V.I.E.:

• French or EU nationality with French Social Security Number.
• Must not have previously lived in the Netherlands.
• Under 28 years old.

Working conditions

• Temporary contract for 1 year – can be extended for one more year.
• Coverage of travel expenses for the relocation.
• Possibility of hybrid working.
• Monthly net salary of €3200.
• 30 vacation days.
• Fully paid health insurance.
• Pension scheme without personal contribution.
