PACCAR Internal Audit is seeking a motivated Intern to join our SOX Audit team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in internal control execution, risk management, and financial controls. The role provides excellent exposure to all financial areas of the Trucks and Finance company for the entire European organization. The internship is a good opportunity for interns to get a wide range of exposure of a variety of financial processes and learn how various different departments operate.

Key responsibilities include gathering and analyzing data, executing SOX testing procedures, assisting the (Senior) SOX auditor in coordinating the SOX control testing program, and assisting in tracking, monitoring and preparing overall SOX assessment status and findings for periodic reporting to DAF Senior Management and PACCAR Internal Audit. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in internal control, risk management, compliance, and financial reporting within a dynamic, multinational environment.

Jouw profiel

You are studying on a Bachelor or Master in the direction of Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or a related field.

Furthermore you have:

• Strong analytical skills;
• Strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal) and strong project management skills;
• Computer literate (with basic applications like Excel, MS Office etc.);
• An independent, pro-active and critical attitude with attention to detail.

SOX Audit is part of PACCAR Internal Audit, which is reporting directly to the PACCAR Board of Directors through the Audit Committee, and is responsible for managing Internal Audits and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404 Compliance. The department consists of a team of 40 professionals, with 31 team members headquartered in Bellevue, Washington state, USA and 9 team members based in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. The SOX 404 program activities will be mostly performed locally in Eindhoven, as well as at PACCAR Financial Europe Division and geographic locations, and might involve to some extent continental travel opportunities.
