Sherpa Digital is looking for a Senior AI Software Developer to help design and build scalable AI-powered applications for leading organizations.

What You Will Do

As a Senior AI Software Engineer, you will design and build scalable applications and AI-driven solutions for our clients.

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing scalable, secure, and efficient applications
• Building and maintaining cloud-native applications on Azure
• Integrating AI technologies and frameworks (such as OpenAI or similar)
• Optimizing application performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborating with consultants, data specialists, and other developers
• Conducting code reviews and solving complex technical challenges
• Staying up to date with industry developments and contributing innovative technical solutions

Who You Are

You are a software engineer who combines strong technical expertise with curiosity about new technologies, particularly AI.

You:

• enjoy solving complex technical problems
• are comfortable working in cross-functional teams
• stay up to date with developments in AI and cloud technology
• can clearly communicate technical concepts to colleagues and stakeholders

Requirements

For this role we are looking for someone with:

• 3-6 years of experience in software development
• strong programming skills in Python
• solid understanding of software development principles and best practices
• experience building scalable applications
• experience with or strong interest in Azure cloud services
• familiarity with AI technologies or generative AI is a strong plus

Additionally:

• HBO or WO level education (Bachelor or Master)
• strong communication skills in English
• Dutch language skills are a strong plus
• currently based in the Netherlands
