Our work philosophy is:

  • Perform marine and/or safety assessments on subcontracted vessels;
  • Monitor changes in maritime legislation, standards, etc. and advise on implications for Allseas’ operations to the relevant departments;
  • Develop, verify and improve management system procedures;
  • Participate in incident investigation teams;
  • Control vetting and inspection databases (IMCA/OCIMF).

What we expect from you

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as maritime studies or marine engineering.
  • 3-5 years of seagoing experience or 3-5 years of other relevant work experience supplemented with training in ISM Code, ISPS Code and MLC.
  • Certified auditor for ISM, ISPS and MLC standards.
  • Experience in auditing and maintaining QHSE management systems.

To be successful in this role you need to:

  • Have affinity with and a working knowledge of QHSE management systems.

  • Make decisions independently.
  • Show initiative and be creative in your own scope.
  • Connect and interact with others in a positive and empathic manner, taking the circumstances into account.
  • Organise work effectively, independently, on own initiative and support team members.
