Internship: HR Business Partner - Research and Innovation

Are you looking to gain hands‑on experience in Human Resources within a global, purpose‑driven organization? Do you enjoy working in a structured, operational environment while being close to the business and its people?

As HR Business Partner SN R&I Intern, you will support the HR Business Partnering team at Danone’s Research & Innovation (R&I) center in Utrecht, one of Danone’s global innovation hubs. This internship is strongly operational and administrative in nature, giving you real exposure to the HR core processes that enable our scientists, researchers and support teams to perform at their best.

You will work closely with HR Business Partners and the HR Coordinator, supporting day‑to‑day HR activities, ensuring data accuracy, smooth execution of HR cycles, and a high‑quality employee experience across the R&I population.

About you

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or a related field.
• You have a strong interest in People & HR, with a hands-on, structured and service oriented mindset.
• You are hungry to learn and conscious of what you want to learn.
• You are detail oriented, organized and comfortable working with data and systems.
• You are proactive and reliable.
• You enjoy getting things done and supporting others.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

• Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period;
• You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);
• In the case of non-EU citizens, it is mandatory to provide a 3-party internship agreement signed by your university;
• Ideally available to start in March/April, for a minimum of 6 months, 4-5 days per week;
• You are fluent in English- spoken and written;
• You are able to work from our Utrecht office, at least 2-3 days per week.
