Impact accelerator for bol and its 2,900 employees
How do you make our customers happy?
At bol, we create impact every day—together with 47,000 partners, for 13.7 million customers. As the world around us changes faster than ever, driven by AI, shifting competition and increasing legislation, the opportunities in ecommerce are enormous—and so are the risks. To stay relevant and win for our partners and customers, we must continuously evolve how we operate. Your mission is to help set our organization up for long-term success in this changing landscape by boosting our effectiveness, accelerating our impact and transforming the way we work at scale—so we can amplify what we do best and take our impact to new heights.
At bol, we are still driven by the same passion: to reinvent retail by challenging the status quo and blazing new trails. Our teams operate with real influence—close to customers, partners and the latest tech innovations. But in a world where change accelerates rapidly and innovation follows innovation, we must increase our impact and build an adaptable organization that stays future-relevant at scale, fully unlocking the potential of breakthroughs like AI. The goal is clear: innovate faster and create more value for our customers. Can you strike the right balance between autonomy and alignment, speed and stability? Your challenge is to bring expertise and, together with the business, shape and evolve an operating model that enables teams to better realize customer ambitions—knowing full well that textbooks don’t offer clearcut answers to the realities you’ll face.
You’ll join our Organization Effectiveness team of eight and collaborate closely with leaders and teams across bol, improving the organization every day to maximize our impact at scale. Reporting to the Head of Organization Effectiveness (within People & Organisation Performance), you’ll be the expert shaping the future of our dynamic, fast-paced organization—working hands-on with the business to design, implement and roll out new operating model solutions that directly support our transformation and growth. No two days look the same—and that’s exactly how we like it. Key responsibilities:
You approach the operating model as a set of strategic and analytical levers, carefully weighing trade-offs and anticipating organization-wide impact. With 7+ years of experience leading complex transformations, you combine deep expertise with a pragmatic, agile mindset—translating business challenges into elegant, scalable operating-model solutions. You partner closely with the business and People& organization to bring these changes to life and ensure they truly stick through effective change management. Your broad perspective on team and organizational effectiveness enables innovative solutions, and your people-oriented approach makes you a natural bridgebuilder who delivers results. You know there’s no cookie-cutter path to success at bol: you tailor your approach to our unique context, balancing ambition with execution and always knowing how to turn vision into tangible progress.
You’ll land in our Organization Effectiveness team of 8, collaborating with departments across bol to improve the organization daily. As part of People & Organization Performance, you’ll work at the intersection of strategy and execution, helping teams to maximize their impact. At a retail tech platform where 2,900 colleagues serve 13.7 million customers and 47,000 partners, you’ll profoundly influence how we scale and evolve.
