As a Solution Expert at Nedap in Security, you help business partners and customers get the most out of our access control solutions. You combine technical expertise with a strong focus on people, enabling others to work confidently and independently with our technology.

Your work is highly diverse. You translate technical requirements into practical solutions, support integrations with customer environments, and guide partners and customers in using our solutions effectively. At the same time, you actively contribute to strengthening our solutions by testing new functionalities, sharing feedback, and improving documentation.

At the start of your role, you also have the opportunity to work operationally at a customer site near Amsterdam for a longer period. This allows you to gain hands-on experience in a real-life environment while supporting the expansion of our access control solution.

Your responsibilities

Solution consulting

Support the integration of Nedap solutions within customer environments, including integrations with third-party systems.

Knowledge sharing

Provide training sessions and on-site support to increase partner and customer autonomy.

Product expertise

Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of our access control solutions.

Testing and improvement

Test new functionalities and contribute to clear and usable documentation.

Collaboration

Your team

You will be part of the Technical Support team within Nedap Security. This international team works from our headquarters in Groenlo and from various locations across Europe and beyond.

We value openness, trust, and collaboration. Nedap is a flat organization, which means you have a lot of autonomy in how you organize your work. At the same time, we expect ownership, initiative, and active contribution to good alignment within the team.

What's in it for you?

In addition to your salary, you’ll receive a thirteenth month, a solid pension plan, and a profit-sharing scheme with the possibility to become a Nedap shareholder.

Everything here revolves around trust and autonomy. That’s why, along with your colleagues, you decide on your own working hours and vacation days to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

We also highly value personal and professional growth. You’ll receive a thorough onboarding, and we encourage you to keep developing yourself.

Required skills

You enjoy working at the intersection of technology and customer interaction and feel comfortable taking responsibility.

  • Technically customer-oriented You have a customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Networking & IT infrastructure You have experience with networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, routers and ports, as well as with IT infrastructures such as databases, software and hardware.
  • Security & access control You have experience with or knowledge of access control and security. Knowledge of AEOS is a strong advantage.
  • Basic electrical engineering knowledge You have a basic understanding of electrical engineering.
  • Communication skills You communicate clearly and hands-on and are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Autonomy & structure You are able to work independently and take initiative. You work in a structured way and remain calm under pressure.

You enjoy communicating with people, listen actively, and recognize opportunities for improvement with partners and customers. Thanks to your technical background, you keep an overview and act decisively when solving problems. Some travel is part of this role.

The first year you’re based 3 days a week at a customer near Amsterdam.
