To strengthen our team, we are now looking for an experienced and driven Sales Product Manager Poultry, supporting sales teams worldwide with specialist expertise in Live Bird Supply and Stunning systems.

About the role

As Sales Product Manager Poultry, you play a key role in supporting and guiding our sales teams worldwide. You act as a specialist in specific product-market combinations (PMCs) within your area of expertise — Live Bird Supply and Stunning systems — ensuring customers receive the right solutions for their production needs.

You collaborate closely with Area Sales Managers, Account Managers, and back-office teams to identify opportunities, shape proposals, and position JBT Marel’s solutions competitively in the market.

In this specialist role, you engage with a broad range of stakeholders within the processing plant, including quality, production, maintenance, planning, and management, while also collaborating with external parties such as farmers, transporters, veterinarians, and auditors. You operate at the critical interface between live bird supply and stunning solutions, leveraging your understanding of how the first processing step impacts poultry physiology and animal welfare. Committed to continuously expanding this expertise, you combine deep technical insight with your extensive portfolio knowledge to deliver high-level support both internally and externally. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical Marel solutions enables you to perform effectively at multiple levels and build strong connections across the value chain.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide sales teams with in-depth product and market knowledge within your field of specialization.
  • Challenge and support Area Sales Managers to identify and capture new business opportunities.
  • Spot potential for new or improved PMCs and act as the link between Sales and Innovation.
  • Collect and analyze market, product, and competitor insights to strengthen our customer value proposition.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external networks — including R&D, Engineering, and Technology specialists.
  • Visit customers regularly (approx. 35% travel) and contribute to exhibitions, demos, and industry events.

About you

You combine commercial awareness with technical curiosity and a genuine passion for the food and poultry industries. You thrive in a dynamic, international setting and enjoy bridging the gap between technology and customer value.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Animal Husbandry, Agri-business, Food Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in Product Management, Product Sales, or Technical Sales within capital equipment or industrial solutions.
  • Strong affinity with agriculture, animal welfare and processing technology.
  • Analytical mindset with a holistic business perspective.
  • Proactive, curious, and customer-focused, with strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Willingness to travel up to 35% internationally.
