Purpose of Role
The Sr. Lead, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for the full spectrum of HR practices for the business unit in which the HRBP is embedded to include talent strategy, succession planning & performance management, talent acquisition, organizational design and effectiveness, training & development, associate relations, compensation & benefits. As a member of the business unit, the HRBP will act as a liaison for the leadership team, HR specialists and executive team.
Your Impact
- Partners closely with the Sr. Director, HRBP in the development and execution of a business specific people strategy and tactics – including Talent Planning, organizational effectiveness, headcount planning, employee relations issues, training and development.
- Consults, coaches and influences MT level (Management Team) and below in all aspects of the teammate lifecycle and drive team effectiveness.
- Collaborate with HR Partners (Other HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, CTMX, Learning and Development, Transformation Office, Total Rewards, and HR Admin/Operations, Legal, FP&A and communications to effectively execute against the people strategy.
- Supports the strategic delivery of key HR practices for the EMEA region including workforce plans, engagement strategies, succession planning, talent acquisition, organizational design and effectiveness, training and development, performance management, and compensation and benefits.
- Support the Sr. Director, HRBP and MT Leaders to effectively manage and lead change in the organization – specifically including RTO.
- Tracks performance against relevant HR data to drive continuous improvement across departments – example includes understanding turnover data and how we can support retention strategies and drive a positive experience in TM development.
- Lead Talent Planning & EOY Process for Corporate TMs – including scheduling, facilitating, and presenting to MT and Leaders on key changes or activities within these practices.
- Lead & drive the exit process for all involuntary exits in Corporate.
- Act as key account managers, business leaders and strategic advisers, and operate with a project manager mindset.
- Developing and maintaining good relations (informal and formal) with the recognized Works Councils and leading on negotiations where necessary.
- Effectively collaborating with HR Ops on key processes.
- The Senior HR Business Partner will also participate and take the lead in several strategic HR projects. Examples of projects they might be working on are learning and development (designing and managing leadership and people development programs), organizational structure assessments and reviews, and restructuring processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with typically 10 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience or typically 14 years of relevant experience without degree.
- Proven knowledge of all core HR processes including performance management, organization design, leadership development, talent management, compensation, succession planning, training and organizational development.
- Prior experience promoting an atmosphere which inspires teammates to excel and develop.
- Prior experience leading talent strategy reviews, employee retention, and identification of high potential external resources.
- Prior experience providing confidential counseling and coaching to all levels of the organization, exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Proven experience working well with others to maintain and build cross-functional (internal and external) relationships.
