Are you an all-round communications professional who enjoys creating compelling content across online and offline channels? Can you translate complex topics into clear, engaging stories for specific audiences, and develop and produce a variety of communication tools to support wider communication goals? If so, this could be the ideal role for you!

We are looking for a curious, energetic and creative Communications Officer to strengthen our Corporate Communications team in Delft. Our department builds and protects the Allseas brand by developing authentic, high-quality content, tools and channels that strengthen our reputation. As a Communications Officer, you will join a team of seven specialists covering communications, content, events and public affairs. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll help shape impactful messaging and ensure consistent communication.

Your role

In this role, you will co-ordinate our internal quarterly magazine, gather and create stories, and write and edit content for a wide range of publications. You proactively engage with colleagues across departments to source news and keep both internal and external communication tools and channels up to date. You have advanced skills in Microsoft office, particularly Word and PowerPoint, and know how to create and customise professional templates to ensure consistency. You understand the importance of well-designed communication tools and maintaining corporate identity standards.

In this role you will

  • Co-ordinate the English internal quarterly magazine ‘Smalltalk’: plan issues, develop themes, conduct interviews and write compelling articles.
  • Develop, maintain and collect content for Allseas’ internal and external communication tools.
  • Write, edit and review English and Dutch texts for various online and offline channels.
  • Create targeted communication materials such as PowerPoint presentations, brochures and handouts.
  • Keep existing brochures up to date and develop new materials where needed.
  • Contribute to scripts for videos and animations.
  • Ensure consistent application of the corporate identity (house style) company-wide across all channels and resources.
  • Source company news by developing a strong network of colleagues throughout the company.

What we expect from you

We are looking for an organised, hands-on communicator with a practical mindset, service-orientated attitude and a good sense of humour. You can work independently as well as collaboratively, even when faced with tight deadlines.

You bring

  • Higher professional education (HBO) level, with 3-5 years of relevant experience in communications, PR, marketing, events or an agency.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging stories.
  • A curious, proactive and solution-driven mindset.
  • Interest in (offshore) technology and a willingness to embrace technical concepts.
  • Excellent spoken and written Dutch and English.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, especially in Word and PowerPoint.

What we offer

Working at Allseas allows you the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with creative thinking, collaboration and down-to-earth culture at its core.

You can expect:

  • Competitive industry benchmarked salary and excellent pension.
  • Performance based salary raises and bonuses.
  • 30 holidays days per year, flexible working hours.
  • Company-sponsored fitness scheme.
  • Internal clubs, committees, parties and (sportive) events.
It’s about more than numbers and schedules—it’s about making the best solution happen with the capabilities we’ve built in-house.
