This internship focuses on 6G wireless communication research at Philips.
As a 6G Wireless Communication Research Intern, you will contribute to the research, design, and evaluation of innovative communication technologies and support the standardization of next-generation wireless systems.
Your role
As an intern within the Philips IP&S Corporate Standardization Department, you will contribute to the development of new standards aligned with Philips’ strategic needs, including wireless connectivity and healthcare interoperability.
Wireless communication standards continue to evolve, with 6G representing the next generation. 6G is expected to enable more ubiquitous connectivity through the integration of terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks, integrated communication and sensing, the use of AI/ML techniques, and enhanced security.
In this 6 to 9-month internship, you will:
Research topics will be defined based on your interests, skills, and academic background and discussed during the interview process. This internship offers hands-on experience at the intersection of research, innovation, and global standardization.
