Your role in our shared journey

Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by leading the strategic development and execution of trade marketing initiatives across all wholesale and retail partner environments globally. As Global Head of Trade Marketing, you'll ensure consistent brand representation and effective go-to-market processes across key product categories including Performance Running, Core Performance Sports, and SportStyle, whilst driving retail activation and strengthening relationships with wholesale partners worldwide.

Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step. 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive global trade marketing strategies and guidelines to ensure consistent brand execution across all wholesale and retail partner touchpoints.
  • Lead the creation and deployment of seasonal go-to-market activation materials and campaign toolkits that drive product sell-through in both physical and digital retail environments.
  • Serve as the guardian of brand experience standards within trade channels, ensuring alignment with ASICS' brand identity across Performance Running, Core Performance Sports, and SportStyle categories.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with global and regional teams to coordinate trade marketing initiatives and ensure seamless execution of retail activation programmes.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key wholesale partners, acting as the primary liaison to optimise brand visibility and commercial performance.
  • Establish measurement frameworks and performance metrics to evaluate trade marketing effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee budget allocation, vendor relationships, and resource management whilst developing global showroom guidelines and fostering a unified Trade Marketing community across all regions.

You have the following skills:

  • University degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in trade marketing.
  • Wholesale and retail activation experience across omni-channel environments.
  • Experience working with key accounts and delivering seasonal GTM materials.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Budget management and vendor management capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of in-store marketing, shopper behaviour and retail activation best practices.
  • Excepcional leadership and strategic thinking skills.
