About the Talent Acquisition Team

Mixpanel’s Talent Acquisition team builds a world-class organization while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. We act as trusted partners to our leaders, advising on hiring strategies and best practices across functions and regions.

About the Role

At Mixpanel, our mission is to help the world learn from its data. We believe that building great teams starts with great hiring experiences—and we’re looking for a Talent Operations and Systems Lead to help us scale that mission globally.

You’ll own the systems, processes, and reporting frameworks that power Mixpanel’s global recruiting function—from headcount reconciliation and req management through to analytics and executive reporting. You’ll be the operational center of gravity connecting Finance, Talent Acquisition, and Hiring Managers—while also modernizing how we work through smarter, automated, and AI-enabled systems.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both detail and design: ensuring our current recruiting processes run smoothly, while continuously improving and automating them so they’re less manual, less dependent, and more scalable.

What You’ll Do

  • Own recruiting operations: Manage headcount reconciliation, role approvals, and system accuracy across Greenhouse, CandorIQ, and Finance tools.
  • Automate and optimize: Identify ways to streamline workflows, reduce manual steps, and improve consistency through AI and automation.
  • Lead recruiting analytics: Build dashboards, track pipeline health and hiring velocity, and deliver insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Run leadership reporting: Design and deliver Talent QBRs and executive updates with clear, actionable data stories.
  • Manage systems: Serve as Greenhouse admin, oversee integrations, and evaluate new tools that elevate recruiting efficiency and experience.
  • Champion efficiency and compliance: Ensure operational excellence, audit readiness, and data integrity across all recruiting processes.
  • Stay curious: Explore and pilot AI use cases—from job description generation to reporting automation—and scale what works.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or HR, including 3+ in operations, analytics, or systems.
  • Proven ability to manage headcount workflows and partner closely with Finance.
  • Expertise with Greenhouse (or similar ATS), recruiting analytics, and tool integration.
  • Strong data fluency—able to design dashboards, interpret trends, and influence with insights.
  • Experience automating workflows and experimenting with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and passion for creating simple, scalable systems.

Bonus Points

  • Experience connecting ATS, HRIS, and Finance systems for unified headcount tracking.
  • Experience preparing executive QBRs or talent analytics dashboards.
  • A knack for simplifying complex systems and workflows.

Compensation

The amount listed below is the total target cash compensation (TTCC) and includes base compensation and variable compensation in the form of either a company bonus or commissions. Variable compensation type is determined by your role and level. In addition to the cash compensation provided, this position is also eligible for equity consideration and other benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage.

Mixpanel Compensation Range

$178,000 - $217,500 USD

Benefits and Perks

  • Comprehensive Medical, Vision, and Dental Care
  • Mental Wellness Benefit
  • Generous Vacation Policy & Additional Company Holidays
  • Enhanced Parental Leave
  • Volunteer Time Off
  • Additional US Benefits: Pre-Tax Benefits including 401(K), Wellness Benefit, Holiday Break

*please note that benefits and perks for contract positions will vary*

Culture Values

  • Make Bold Bets: We choose courageous action over comfortable progress.
  • Innovate with Insight: We tackle decisions with rigor and judgment - combining data, experience and collective wisdom to drive powerful outcomes.
  • One Team: We collaborate across boundaries to achieve far greater impact than any of us could accomplish alone.
  • Candor with Connection: We build meaningful relationships that enable honest feedback and direct conversations.
  • Champion the Customer: We seek to deeply understand our customers’ needs, ensuring their success is our north star.
  • Powerful Simplicity: We find elegant solutions to complex problems, making sophisticated things accessible.
