HR Business Partner (12 month Fixed Term Contract)

As our HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing dedicated HR support to functions including Procurement, R&D and Sustainability, Global Consumer Beauty, Legal and Corporate Affairs. You will partner with around 150 employees based in our Netherlands office, delivering comprehensive HR generalist guidance while collaborating closely with HR Centers of Excellence and senior HR leadership.

In this role, you will oversee core HR partnering activities such as case management, coaching managers, driving engagement, and supporting talent, performance, and development initiatives. You will build strong stakeholder relationships, influence senior leaders, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Your main focus:

• Building trust and credibility with teams, coaching, supporting and directing them as appropriate, and partnering with line managers on all aspects of the people agenda.
• Leading annual people cycle activities across performance, talent management and reward, ensuring managers are equipped for quality conversations and upskilled on these processes.
• Leading specific recruitment activities, including liaison with central recruitment functions, agencies and internal/external candidates.
• Acting as the key liaison for HR COEs (Global Talent, Compensation & Benefits, Global Mobility, HRIS, Talent Acquisition) to ensure BNL/field populations align with global processes and best practices.
• Driving the employee engagement agenda through pulse checks, trend analysis and action planning, and supporting delivery of learning and development initiatives.
• Leading employee relations matters, partnering with Finance on budget, reporting and analytics, and supporting or leading ad-hoc HR projects such as Global Onboarding, Health & Wellbeing and Global Benchmarking.

• Have proven experience in a HR Business Partner or equivalent role, delivering tangible outcomes that make a real difference to the business and your customer group. Experience in FMCG can be beneficial.
• Have a collaborative, relationship-led approach and a pragmatic ‘can do’ mindset, along with the ability to influence with integrity.
• Possess strong knowledge of core HR such as performance and talent management, engagement and employee relations, and value coaching as an important part of your work.
• Have a good insight into the overall workings of the business and the evolving role of the HR function as enabling business partners.
• Demonstrate a partnership mindset and the ability to balance empathy and understanding with business realities.
