Join our Sourcing team at Rituals as a Product & Packaging Buyer for the Body Category

The goal of this team is to ensure innovation and supply at the right price, with sustainability and quality as our guiding stars in product development. Are you ready to join us with your expertise?

At Rituals, we're seeking a Product & Packaging Buyer for our Body Category to strengthen our Sourcing team. In this role, you'll bring our body products to life, from luxurious Shower Foams to invigorating Body Creams. While our Innovation team develops new concepts, you'll make sure these ideas become reality: sourced, developed and delivered to the highest Rituals standards.

You combine a strong commercial mindset with operational excellence, ensuring every product launch runs smoothly, on time and within budget while upholding the premium quality our brand is known for. This position offers the opportunity to work across a diverse and fast-growing product portfolio. You will directly influence the development and sourcing of the formulas and packaging that define the Rituals Body Care experience.

It’s a role built on collaboration, working closely with colleagues from Innovation, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory and Impact, as well as suppliers globally. You will grow your expertise in an international environment while helping to create products that connect people and bring meaningful moments of wellbeing.

As a Product & Packaging Buyer, you go beyond negotiations. You build long-term partnerships, safeguard capacity, quality and sustainability, ensuring that our body collections stand out for their innovation, craftsmanship and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with suppliers: support performance assessment and prepare for key commercial negotiations
  • Prepare and present supplier panel & award recommendations for NPD in line with the Sourcing strategy
  • Prepare and present business cases using the AQSCIS framework
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers for NPD
  • Manage suppliers' capacity and timelines to ensure flawless product launches
  • Ensure sourcing choices meet Rituals sustainability, quality and ethical standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Innovation, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory and Impact
  • Support the resolution of supply and quality issues within your portfolio
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
  • Ensure accurate product data, compliance and documentation within our sourcing systems

In short, you are the link between creative innovation and operational delivery, ensuring Rituals body products are developed and produced with care, quality and purpose.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong commercial mindset and passion for personal care. You’re analytical, structured and enjoy working collaboratively to turn creative ideas into tangible products.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, procurement, supply chain or a similar field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the cosmetics industry: procurement of cosmetics ingredients/packaging, product development or contract manufacturing
  • Strong analytical skills with a passion for turning data and trends into actionable insights
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities
  • Stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively across teams
  • Collaborative, confident and able to influence when needed
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
