Are you looking for an assignment in a dynamic environment that bridges the gap between capital markets, big data and mortgage investments? NN Bank is looking for a portfolio manager to add value to its Asset Finance team.

The role requires the ability to work in a complex data environment as well as the ability to partner with a variety of stakeholders; ranging from internal departments and clients to 3rd party institutional investors.

The Asset Finance team is located at the heart of NN Bank and is responsible for the distribution of mortgages towards investors. As the need for information of these investors is growing in combination with our ambition to improve the quality of our service, we currently have a vacancy for a portfolio manager that is capable of executing our originate-to-distribute servicing efforts.

NN Bank has several strategic priorities that help us prosper and grow. One of these is to cultivate a data/analytics driven way of working by investing in new technologies and making use of all available data. With more than one million customers we have a wealth of knowledge and data which we can use to determine what really matters to our clients.

You are the business expert when it comes to mortgage data. As a portfolio manager you collect and analyse business information and requirements of stakeholders, which you translate to requirements for data- and reporting solutions.

You see the big picture. You can separate the essential from the non-essential tasks and you are the link between the Business and our institutional investor client base.

We expect you to be on-site 3-4 days a week and remote the rest of the time.

What you are going to do

  • Become one of the main points of contact for our internal stakeholders and institutional investors by actively following up on questions and due diligence requests
  • Be responsible for investor reporting and, as an expert, communicate with our investors about the reporting process and mortgages data
  • Take responsibility for the broader reporting environment, and be one of the main driving forces behind continuous improvements

What we offer you

Our people are the driving force behind our organisation. We value the knowledge and expertise you bring. We believe that your temporary commitment can take our organization to a higher level. We offer you:

  • Competitive hourly rate depending on your knowledge and experience
  • An assignment until April 2026
  • Hybrid way of working, partly from home and partly from the office in The Hague
  • International working environment with loads of knowledge sharing

Who you are

You know how to work in an Agile environment where collaboration and continuous improvements are the foundations. Additionally, you possess:

  • A master’s degree in a quantitative direction or relevant experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a portfolio manager or similar, preferably within the (Dutch) Financial Services / Mortgages sector
  • Strong communication skills: able to represent complex matters in an understandable way, and act as a sparring partner for operations and senior management
  • Solid problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and the ability to effectively present findings verbally and in written/presentation format

Who you will work with

You will be part of a team with a variety of backgrounds and cultures. The Asset Finance team is responsible for allocation of mortgages towards internal and external investors. As such, we deliver high quality reports and act as the single point of contact towards our stakeholders.
