Position Summary

As SCM Coordinator, you will be part of the SCP Digital Home Appliances (Supply Chain Planner) department located in Delft. This role supports multiple sales subsidiaries in their supply of digital home appliances distributed from the Centralized Warehouses located in Tilburg (NL) and Slovakia (SK). SELS is the Central European logistics organization of Samsung Electronics which functions as a logistics and financial control tower within SEC Europe, with a focused role in logistics and supply chain strategy, innovation and monitoring. SELS has approximately 100 employees divided over various departments and locations within the Netherlands (Delft, Breda and Tilburg).

Role and Responsibilities

  • SCM and planning for all digital appliances
    • Correspond between Sales Subsidiary and DA RPM
    • PO management, material master data maintenance
    • In transit and inbound control
    • Act as a backup intermediary for subsidiaries (and any other possible relevant parties) regarding any SCM related questions or requests (order and delivery status, track and trace, pricing, allocation, new product, logistics, configurations, special shipments, stock availability, etc.)
  • Outbound delivery order dependent on the products or sites
    • Communicate with EU subsidiaries for the requested delivery date for the orders
    • Assure creation of delivery orders considering optimum efficiency
    • Track and trace of delivery upon sales subsidiary’s request
  • Reporting and improvement
    • Analyze data and set up relevant reports in order to manage responsibilities and inform management
    • Analyze forecasts, orders and relevant data in order to create improvements to processes and procedures
    • Analyze on time delivery performance and outbound lead time from factory and suggest innovations/improvements
  • Projects and process innovation
    • Propose process improvements and implement approved proposals in order to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and process quality
    • Coordinate and execute logistics projects in order to constantly improve activities, procedures and systems
    • Support specific product taskforce to improve service
  • Stock level management
    • Support stock management in order to create lean stock levels and avoid either shortage or overstock
    • Perform move allocation and stock transfer
  • Change management
    • Guide and drive sales subsidiaries with newly implemented projects or processes, monitor progress on a regular basis and report to head of department
    • Frequent communication with sales subsidiaries SCM members in order to achieve given targets or projects to be completed within timeline
