About the P&O department As Training Coordinator you will be part of the People Development team within the P&O department. The P&O department is responsible for developing and executing the strategy that enables Ampelmann to attract, develop and retain the best people and to create an optimal working environment. Within that strategy, the People Development team is making sure that individuals and teams at Ampelmann have the right tools and resources to reach their full potential. Next to you, the team is comprised of two Talent Acquisition Specialists, a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, a Talent Sourcer, a People Development Specialist and an L&D Specialist. In this role you’ll report to the Team Lead People Development.

Your role as Training Coordinator

As Training Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for the smooth execution of our global technical and compliance training programs for both onshore and offshore personnel. You ensure our training processes are efficient and user-friendly and act as the first point of contact for all employees for training-related questions. You make sure that systems, data and reporting are optimally used to support continuous improvement of both content and organization of trainings. You’ll also support the Specialists in the team with organizing company-wide development programs and contribute to projects focused on L&D or the broader objectives of the department. Your ultimate goal? Enable every Amployee to meet their current and future training needs and ensure 100% training compliancy!

Regular activities

  • Coordinate the organization of a wide variety of trainings - including planning, registration, and logistics - for all onshore and offshore personnel.
  • Act as first point of contact for training-related questions from Amployees worldwide.
  • Gather and evaluate feedback from training participants to, together with suppliers and the L&D Specialist, improve the coordination process and content of trainings.
  • Maintain and improve our LMS (Ampelmann Academy on PlusPort), by keeping content up-to-date, troubleshooting issues and configuring system updates.
  • Provide structural compliance reporting to stakeholders, including quarterly reports for the MT, and process ad-hoc training data requests.

We ask

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience; experience with planning of offshore industry trainings in an international context is a big plus
  • Proven experience working with LMS (e.g. PlusPort)
  • Working knowledge of L&D and HR practices
  • Strong organizational skills, a process-oriented mindset and a proactive attitude
  • Affinity with processing, analysing and visualising data
  • Excellent communication skills in English
