You will be part of our professional R&D team within a dynamic environment. As the linking pin in product development, you will work together with various stakeholders across FrieslandCampina, including Marketing and Sales, Operations, Technology and QA. On top of that, you will also have contact with external suppliers and manufacturing partners.

• Proven experience in project management, excellent communication skills in English and preferably basic understanding of Dutch.
• A Master’s degree in food technology, food science, (bio)chemistry or chemical engineering, preferably in dairy and 4-6 years working experience in food industry, more specifically in cheese or cheese technology.

Job description

• Responsible for the development and implementation of technical solutions to maintain and improve the quality of existing products in cooperation with Marketing, QA, Operations and Expert Teams.
• Coordination of product tests on lab, pilot and production scales, includes analysis and interpretation of results incorporated in well-written reports.
• Present findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders and peers.

You will be part of the Europe, Retail & Americas development team of about 40 R&D colleagues in the Innovation Centre of Wageningen. Within this larger team you work in a team of 12 Development Specialists, who mainly work on cheese. This team is working in close cooperation with BG Retail & Americas, BG Europe, BG MEPA and Supply Chain.
