Product Manager - Insights & Optimization Experience

In building the most customer-focused financial technology platform, Adyen has an automation-first approach to optimizing the full payment flow. Through leveraging a suite of machine-learning models, we optimize for the outcome that maximizes conversion for our merchants, whilst minimizing costs. We build tools that enable the best possible shopper experience when it comes to payments and help our merchants squeeze more revenue out of every transaction while having fraud risks under control.

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the Insights & Customer Experience products of our Adyen Uplift payment optimization suite. Your role is to define and build data products and performance insights and actionable recommendations from across different Adyen teams to help our merchants optimize their performance. This role is a special opportunity for someone who enjoys operating at multiple levels of a business and with a wide range of cross-functional teams and stakeholders, from developing a deep understanding of payments performance and of our machine learning products to simplifying the complexity behind them into a coherent merchant narrative and customer experience for our merchants.

What you'll do

• You will be responsible for how Adyen measures and represents the value of its Adyen Uplift products towards merchants
• You will be responsible for the discovery, building, and delivery of actionable data products for our merchants to identify and activate revenue and risk optimization opportunities
• You will own a recommendations engine that delivers actionable insights and product adoption and configuration interfaces for products from across multiple product teams
• You will be an evangelist of our Adyen Uplift product, its impact, and our culture to colleagues, customers, and partners
• You will set a high bar in performance measurement quality and build a strong data-driven culture for our teams
• You will work collaboratively with other product managers, data scientists, engineers, analytics teams, account managers, Sales and Marketing teams, and our customers

Who you are

• You have conceived of and launched successful products at scale with quantifiable value to large enterprise customers (5+ years in product management)
• You have experience in one or more of the following: big data, machine learning, artificial intelligence, experimentation, data analytics, platform products
• You have experience in the world of ecommerce, payments, fintech
• You can guide an engineering team with the right questions to answer, turn those answers into business value, and leverage analytics to drive product decisions
• You can take complex technical products and simplify them into intuitive and valuable user experiences
• You have excellent organizational and communication skills and know how to manage a project from conception to maturity
• You can successfully operate in a global organization working with teams across different offices and timezones
• You are a quick learner and take a ‘launch fast and iterate’ approach to tackling problems
• You love to act as a mentor and help guide talent to make optimal decisions
• You take pride in putting your team first, you value teams over ego

This role is based out of our Amsterdam office. We are an office-first company and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.
