Senior leader who builds the operational backbone for product delivery across all value streams. Part of the Backbase Product Leadership team. Direct reporting line to CPO. Owns cadence, dependency management, roadmap governance, cross-stream commitments to clients, and the tooling/processes that let product leaders & engineers execute predictably and at scale.

  • Reduce missed client commitments and cross-stream rework;
  • Make roadmap sequencing data-driven and auditable;
  • Shorten time from prioritization to delivery by removing cross-stream blockers;
  • Give executives transparent, trustable views into commitments, tradeoffs and delivery risk;
  • Drive cross value change initiatives (architecture, NFR, adopt AI-driven SDLC framework).

What you'll do

Core responsibilities

  • Dependency management: identify, prioritize and own cross-stream dependencies and mitigations;
  • Roadmap governance: collaborate with value stream leaders to create and maintain a single source of truth for roadmaps, maintain sequencing heuristics, enforce release windows;
  • Client commitment tracking: operationalize commitment SLAs, maintain client-facing delivery dashboards, escalate & remediate;
  • Cross-functional orchestration: embed with Engineering, Delivery, Sales, Customer Success and Legal to operationalize decisions;
  • Metrics & reporting: define OKRs/KPIs, automate dashboards, run executive product reviews;
  • Quality: collaborate with values stream leaders and VP Engineering Operations to continuously improve the quality of the Backbase platform experienced by our customers and implementation partners;
  • People leadership: hire and grow a small Product Ops team;
  • Continuous improvement: run postmortems, capacity planning and predictability improvements.

Who you are

  • 10+ years experience in product/program/portfolio operations or equivalent (with 5+ years leading teams);
  • Experience operating across multiple product/value streams in enterprise or B2B SaaS;
  • Deep familiarity with dependency/portfolio management, release orchestration, and SLAs for client commitments;
  • Strong analytical skills + comfortable building KPIs and dashboards (looker/tableau/jira/roadmap tools);
  • Excellent stakeholder management, can influence cross department without formal authority;
  • Track record of introducing process and tooling that measurably improved delivery predictability;
  • Calm in escalation, decisive, and operationally rigorous.
