Help shape the future of online grocery shopping at Picnic

What’s it like to work on the fastest-growing online supermarket app in Europe? At Picnic, we’re redefining grocery shopping, and we want you to help shape the way millions of customers experience it. 🥑🥐🍎

As a Junior Business Manager - Consumer, you’ll join our Marketing Track, designed for ambitious graduates ready to kick off their careers with real ownership. From day one, you’ll be matched to one of our core teams, based on your strengths, interests, and mindset.

We have several exciting opportunities in the following areas:

Homepage: Plan and execute in-app campaigns, ensure high product availability, and optimize the digital store by showing the best products & seasonal highlights to inspire customers daily.

Promotion: Develop and execute compelling promotions that drive engagement and sales.

Meals: Create appealing recipe app campaigns, targeted at different audiences, from busy families to weekend chefs, ensuring high adoption rates and recipe sales.

Campaigns: Plan and launch weekly marketing moments, from seasonal celebrations to product pushes.

Partnerships: Collaborate with creators and influencers to grow brand reach and loyalty.

This is not a rotation program or internship. You’ll own your domain and become a marketing expert from day one, while shaping how millions of people discover, shop, and engage with food.

Tricks of the trade

Here’s what your day to day might look like:

Collaboration: Collaborate with category managers, designers, copywriters, and tech teams to deliver a seamless, inspiring, and customer-first app experience.

Analysis: Leverage data-driven insights to analyze customer behavior, optimize app features, fine-tune pricing, and create irresistible promotions.

Innovation: Stay ahead of market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies to innovate and continually enhance our store’s offerings.

Optimization: Develop and refine tools and processes to boost the efficiency, accuracy, and impact of our commercial activities.

Projects: Manage cross-functional projects spanning marketing, customer experience, and operational excellence to drive growth and deliver maximum value to customers.

Each team is unique, but they all offer the same thing: meaningful ownership, clear goals, and space to grow into your full potential!

Your superpowers

You bring the right mix of street smartness, creativity, and commercial drive, ready to own challenges and grow fast.

  • You’re finishing (or just finished) your MSc in Business Administration, Economics, Analytics, Communication or a related field.
  • Up to 4 years of experience in a commercial, analytical, or product-focused role within FMCG or retail
  • Confident using data to drive decisions - Excel and dashboards don’t scare you.
  • Able to think analytically, act practically, and iterate fast.
  • You’re a natural collaborator and communicator, not afraid to own your projects across teams and stakeholders.
  • You’re fluent in English & Dutch.
  • You have a customer-first mindset and love for food, retail, tech - or all three!

Bonus: Experience with tools like Salesforce, Selligent, or marketing automation platforms.

This is the start of a real career - not just a job or a rotation. You’ll build, learn, and grow with a team that thrives on doing things differently.

Excited? So are we. Let’s shape the future of online groceries together!
