Job Description for Supply Planning Data Product Owner:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Functional Interlock & Business Integration

    • Act as the functional connector between Supply Planning operations and the Data Foundations stream, ensuring supply-side requirements are embedded in data solutions.
    • Collaborate with supply planning and inventory teams to define data needs for supply planning.
  • Data Product Ownership

    • Own the vision and lifecycle of supply planning data products, including BOMs, lead times, capacity constraints, inventory policies, and replenishment logic.
    • Prioritize and manage the product backlog to support IBP scenarios, what-if simulations, and supply-demand balancing.
  • Requirement Gathering & Functional Design

    • Translate supply planning processes into structured data requirements, ensuring alignment with planning tools and algorithms.
    • Validate that data products support key supply planning KPIs such as service level, inventory turns, and capacity utilization.
  • Governance & Operational Excellence

    • Ensure data integrity and compliance with master data and operational standards across plants, suppliers, and distribution networks.
    • Collaborate with IT and data engineering to ensure timely and accurate data availability for planning cycles.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration

    • Engage with planners, supply chain leaders, and system integrators to align on priorities and resolve data-related issues.
    • Drive adoption and continuous improvement of supply planning data products through training and feedback loops.

  • Experience in similar role as part of o9 Implementation is a plus
