This role is part of our Holding team based in the Netherlands. Our team is the driving force behind DEPT® composed of individuals who thrive on sales, business development, and fostering new opportunities. JOB PURPOSE

In this role, you will be responsible for on-site IT Support Operations in the Netherlands with focus on the Rotterdam Office and wider local activities where required.

You will partner closely with the Netherlands office management team and provide support for important office meetings and activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Local support:

  • NL Office Support with focus on the Rotterdam office
  • Setting standards for office support
  • On location office work
  • Support with key client meetings
  • Ensuring new-joiner setups run smoothly
  • Managing and overseeing local NL vendor relationships
  • Managing and overseeing any required local projects
  • Providing NL-wide assistance and technical support to users
  • Generating regular reports on the status of IT initiatives, project progress, and performance metrics
  • Analysing existing software applications and IT processes to identify opportunities for consolidation and standardisation
  • Adhering to NL IT Budget & Ordering process

Global support:

  • With input from the Global IT team, overseeing the development, enhancement and integration of systems
  • Contributing to Global IT team meetings and channels

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Up to 1 year of experience in IT engineering and supporting roles;
  • Working proficiency in English is a must ; Working proficiency in Dutch is a plus;
  • Direct availability to start working in the Netherlands;
  • Good knowledge of IT software, hardware, networking and infrastructure concepts;
  • Advanced knowledge of both Windows & macOS;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to analyse and optimise IT processes and implement solutions to improve efficiency;
  • Basic knowledge of the concepts of licensing, security and organization;
  • Motivation, excellent communication and teamwork;
  • Experience with SaaS software like Google Workspace, Okta, O365, Slack, JAMF & Intune, and Atlassian is a plus.
