The role

As World Art Lead at Guerrilla, you will play a key role in the creation of our game worlds. Working in close collaboration with our Art Directors and Art Leads, you’ll head up a team of talented Artists and set the stage for immersive, compelling gameplay experiences.

What you will do

As a World Art Lead, we will look to you to:

  • Lead a team of Artists who specialize in overgrown ruins and hi-tech themes
  • Contribute artwork which is exemplary of the style and direction
  • Work with Direction to meet the projects requirements for both Art and Design
  • Work with Production to organize and prioritize the team and their tasks
  • Collaborate with adjacent team members such as Lighting and VFX Artists, Designers, Asset Artists, and Tech Artists
  • Work with modular asset kits to create compelling new spaces for our players to explore

Who you are

  • Enjoy architecture, ruins, nature and science fiction
  • Can work in various art styles
  • Like working in a highly collaborative environment
  • Are a well-organized person and a good communicator
  • Enjoy coaching Artists in their careers
  • Can work in Maya and a Game Editor such as Unreal (spoilers: you’ll work in our fantastic Decima Editor)
  • Have a solid portfolio of shipped AAA projects and have Lead experience
  • Can work in our studio in the heart of Amsterdam
