How You Will Take on This Challenge

As an experienced leader in the field of cybersecurity and resilience, you play a central role in strengthening Enexis's digital resilience. You are responsible for the daily management of 15-20 colleagues in our Digital Resilience Center. In your role, you hold the team accountable for results, providing proper insights from both 'run' and 'change’.

• Daily Management: You lead a team of Information Security Officers (ISOs) and Resilience Specialists. You guide and coach them in their personal and professional development.
• Strategic Priorities: You help with setting priorities and creating focus, thereby directly contributing to the DRC's mission and roadmap.
• Sparring Partner: You are the primary sparring partner for the ISOs and Specialists. You help the team to address complex issues so that business stakeholders can make informed strategic decisions.
• DRC Services: You are responsible for our core services: "Security sparring partner as a service" and "Continuous security improvements", making our resilience strategy tangible and applicable.
• Strategic Plans and Implementations: You contribute to defining the DRC roadmap and making plans concrete for the coming years, thus driving the future-proof establishment and continuous improvement of our core services.
• Stakeholder Management: Together with your manager and the team, you ensure that security becomes an equal conversation partner, involved early by the business.

Additionally, you have: *

• A higher professional/university level of work and thinking, with an educational background in Business Administration, IT, Cyber, or Business Economics.
• At least 10 years of work experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
• At least 5 years of experience in cyber security. Experience in continuity management and crisis management is a plus.
• Understanding of cyber security in modern (cloud-based) infrastructure and application landscapes.
• Bilingual (English and Dutch).
• Flexibility; no day is the same, you deal with many different people and thus different wishes. You see the challenge in this and move smoothly between diverse topics, interests, and changes.

Do you want to lead a talented team within the Digital Resilience Center (DRC) at Enexis and play a crucial role in embedding digital resilience into our DNA? At Enexis, we are looking for an experienced Lead Information Security Officer’s & Resilience Specialists who will help us strengthen the digital resilience of our organization!

You are committed to cultivating a "Can do" attitude and maintaining positive energy within the team so that the DRC can operate as a "Department of Yes". You achieve this by embracing and embedding a customer-oriented mindset and approach with a focus on and an eye for quality. You help the team to embrace change and dream big ("How can it be done?").

You are doing this together with your colleagues at the DRC (ISOs and specialists) as well as the DRC MT consisting of the Manager DRC, Lead SOC, and capability manager.

As an ISOs & Specialists team, you come to the office at least one day a week to collaborate (Thursday); furthermore, you ensure that you remain in touch with your team members and stakeholders. We work in an informal atmosphere with a lot of freedom, and you have no issues working independently and figuring things out yourself.

• Salary between € 6.615 and € 9.450 gross per month (based on a 40-hour work week). Including secondary benefits, your salary can rise to € 12.162,- gross per month.
• 70% contribution to your ABP Optional Pension.
• Personal budget of 10% and a 13th month bonus of 10.7% of your gross annual salary. You can use this flexibly or choose to have it paid monthly or annually.
• 24.5 vacation days for a full-time position. Need more recharge time? With your personal budget and 13th month, you can purchase up to 35.5 extra leave days.
• Opportunities to work from home, including a home office setup provided by us and a €2.40 allowance per homeworking day.
• Laptop or tablet and phone that you may also use privately.
• Travel allowance and a first-class public transport subscription for business use.
• Vitality budget of €500, for example for a gym membership.
