About this role
The Head of Compliance will head and manage a team of 6 compliance officers (3 mediors and 3 juniors) and report to the General Manager of TP. All steps of the compliance cycle are followed and the 1st line activities are outsourced to JET under an intragroup service level agreement. The Head of Compliance draws up its annual compliance plan to ensure that the key activities are well planned with sufficient room to be part of projects launched by JET, such as the launch of new product segments, the introduction of further IT tools to facilitate the compliance processes, the addition of new geographies, anticipating to new laws and regulations (such as PSD3 and DORA). Rendering compliance-related advice to the TP Management Board and communicating with senior colleagues/directors within JET (whether to explore the most efficient manner to cooperate on compliance-related issues. It is a broad role with much room to shape the position of TP’s compliance and the related policies and procedures.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role

• Manage relationships with the Management Board/Supervisory Board, the compliance team, JET colleagues, and the regulators
• Strengthen the expertise of the team members
• Keep track of actions in the Annual Compliance Plan
• Regularly report to MB and SB
• Participate in various projects
• Monitor adherence to the intragroup service level agreement
• Support various internal and external audits

What will you bring to the table?

• An experienced compliance professional with a practical/hands-on approach
• Academic background or level of thinking
• Flawless English and a good level of Dutch
• Able to work independently as well as align with the internal stakeholders
• A proactive, well-organized approach to your work
• Previous experience working in a financial institution in Europe
