The Internship

Are you ready to bring big ideas to life and create impactful consumer communications? As an intern in our Global Communications and Media Team, you will shape the way we connect with our local marketing teams worldwide, helping to build the key capabilities that future-proof their marketing effectiveness.

This is a hands-on role where you will simplify complex communication templates into clear, engaging content while being exposed to marketing communication guidances across owned, earned, and paid consumer touchpoints. Your work will span creative presentations, stakeholder collaboration, and innovative engagement strategies. It's an incredible opportunity to get a front-row seat to learn about leading global marketing strategies and guidelines.

You will work closely with a fast-paced and dynamic global team, directly contributing to critical initiatives like "Network Excellence"—a program designed to inspire and empower our local markets to deliver impactful marketing campaigns.

The Department

Our team drives Global Communications Strategy and Media, empowering local markets with the tools and capabilities they need to excel. We create guidelines, frameworks, and capabilities across all consumer touchpoints and communicate them through highly engaging interactions with marketing teams around the globe. Expect a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on creativity, marketing effectiveness, and future-fit marketing solutions. It's never a dull moment in this team!

The Terms of Employment

  • Start Date: 1 September 2025
  • Duration: 5-6 months (in consultation with your supervisor)
  • Internship Type: Practice-oriented
  • Internship Fee: €650 gross per month (based on 40 hours/week)
  • Vacation: 2 days per month (based on full-time)
  • Commuting expenses fully reimbursed if no student OV product is provided.

Conditions of HEINEKEN

  1. You are enrolled at an educational institution:
  • If you are a non-EU national, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution, with proof of enrollment for the current academic year.
  • For EU nationals, enrollment may also be at institutions outside the EU.
  1. You must live in the Netherlands during the internship (HEINEKEN does not provide housing).
