Description of the assignment

This internship provides you with a unique opportunity to learn how Talent management processes support the business in an international context. You will be looking over the shoulder of the Global Talent Management Team responsible for Vanderlande’s talent management processes. Whilst doing so, you will support the team with the roll-out and communication of processes. Moreover, you will support the execution of the global diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts.

Description of department

During this internship you will especially connect with other colleagues global HR departments (Centers of Expertise), but also with colleagues in regional and local roles across the HR organization.

Responsibilities

Support the Global Talent Management Team by supporting the improvement and execution of talent processes. This includes operational tasks in the areas of e.g. employee experience, performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, development, diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI), performance appraisals. Part of the foundation will be in communication and project management related tasks.

You will work on creating targeted communication (on processes, employee engagement & DEI), ensure effectiveness through data validation and qualitative feedback loops, define relevant action plans with the (project) team, and drive proper follow up. Moreover, there is the possibility of joining diverse projects in collaboration with other departments.

Skills

  • Strong communicator (verbal and in writing); knowledge of internal business communications and marketing or interest to develop in this area is preferred

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Technology

  • Knows how to collect, analyze, and present data (using Excel);

  • Deals well with changing workload and able to organize and prioritize effectively

  • Easy to connect with people across roles and cultures

  • High level of proficiency in English
