Within our Electronic Development Platforms department, we develop and create world-class electronic common platform solutions used across ASML's business lines, ensuring commonality and streamlining development. To achieve this, we collaborate closely with our colleagues from DUV Electronics, EUV Electronics, Application Electronics and our external development partners, customers and global suppliers.
For this internship, you are asked to investigate Vendor independent soft CPU to replace NIOS / Microblaze with HDL alternative such that designs can easily be ported to different vendors to increase flexibility in device selection and porting. With focus on RISC-V solutions.
This is a bachelor graduation project (thesis) or master apprentice internship with a duration of 6 months, for 4-5 days a week, starting as soon as possible. Latest starting date is in September 2025.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
