Solution Engineering Internship (Amsterdam)

Description

If you're passionate about technology and ready to kick-start your career in a dynamic tech environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you! As a Solutions Engineer (also known as Pre-sales Consultant or Sales Engineer), you'll work with the sales team to create tailored solutions for customers. You'll be a trusted advisor, helping translate business needs into impactful recommendations and guiding customers through their transformation journey.

šŸ”¹ What You’ll Do:

  • Design technical solutions that address customer needs and prepare tailored proposals
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards to track performance and success
  • Assist in creating engaging presentations in various formats (slides, videos, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the Solution Engineering team to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Engage with internal stakeholders (e.g., Professional Services, Alliances) to align solutions with customer requirements
  • Support the preparation of technical proposals and assist with internal operations and special projects

šŸŽ“ Who We’re Looking For (Minimum Requirements)

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Amsterdam (Graduation: 2026)
  • Preferably studying Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Fluent in Dutch & English (oral and written)
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems in dynamic, energizing environments. Inquisitive, practical and passionate about technology and sharing knowledge. Likes to be the first to know something and to understand why and how things happen. Good at searching out information and experimenting, loves to concentrate on a particular topic and to solve puzzles. Good at explaining ideas and finding ways to keep people’s attention.
  • Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication and relationship skills.

⭐ Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Java, JS, Databases or Cloud technologies is an advantage
  • Previous work experience – a summer job, internship; if it’s an experience in a related field or business, even better
  • Experience delivering presentations/Demo
  • Comfortable presenting in front of big audiences.
  • Understanding the unique business requirements of customers within multiple industries and translating/presenting those needs into a compelling vision and roadmap for our customers
