Join our dynamic team as a Senior Demand Planner – S&OP and become a key player in ensuring the timely and optimal availability of Rituals products. This role offers a unique blend of analytical skills, stakeholder management and provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to our commercial success. Rituals is also dedicated to a digital transformation roadmap and as a demand planner, you will be involved in this exciting ongoing transition as the company continues to implement new state-of-the-art systems and processes.

You will report to the S&OP Manager and become part of the S&OP demand planning team within the Supply Chain department. The S&OP team is responsible for product forecasts of all lines of business (LOBs) and countries. The product scope involves current products, new product introductions, and promotional activities.

You are responsible for providing an accurate forecast for your product categories in collaboration with all LOBs (Retail, Digital, Wholesale, and Travel). After validation and executive sign-off, all volumes are reflected in the S&OP sales plan, resulting in a monthly rolling forecast. The S&OP forecast serves as input for the monthly supply planning process, shop replenishment, and financial budget.

As a Senior Demand Planner – S&OP, you are the end-to-end process owner of the planning processes and constantly looking for ways to improve by working closely with different stakeholders within Innovation, Marketing, and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative stakeholder management: Work closely with departments such as Innovation, Marketing, Control, and Supply Chain to gather essential business drivers, track deadlines, and validate inputs. Engage in cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and effective communication across departments.
  • Strategic demand forecasting: Conduct comprehensive category forecast analyses across the Rituals product portfolio, identifying focus areas, forecasting your own product portfolio, and recommending actionable strategies to drive business growth.
  • Actionable insights and reporting: Utilize strong analytical skills to adjust the S&OP sales plan based on forecast vs. actuals, incorporating all gathered business inputs and publishing results. Share Monthly S&OP Pack with all Lines of Business (LOBs), providing insightful explanations and taking proactive measures to address forecast accuracy deltas.
  • Address risks & opportunities: Highlight revenue forecast risks and opportunities by LOB, product group, or category, contributing to informed decision-making processes. Contribute to executive demand reviews, S&OP work sessions, and Category meetings, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Support & collaboration: Together with the Senior Team Lead and other Demand Planners, you will form a (virtual) S&OP category team. You will assist in creating monthly S&OP reports, category analyses, and presentations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Ensure that forecast accuracy results, category trends, and business inputs are effectively translated into forecast actions, reflected in the demand planning tool Logility.
  • Supply Chain Projects: Next to your regular planning tasks, you will be involved with wider projects that could involve cross-department collaboration. Your role can differ per project.

Bring all of you

To thrive in this role, you’ll need a unique mix of analytical strength, digital understanding, and people-savvy communication. You’re someone who enjoys turning complexity into clarity, who feels at home in both data and stakeholder meetings, and who’s not afraid to take the lead in a fast-paced, digitally driven environment.

We’re looking for someone who brings the following to the table:

  • Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to manage and align diverse stakeholders
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to define and support a consumer service strategy in close collaboration with business and logistics teams
  • At least 3 years of experience in Operational Planning, Demand Planning, or Supply Planning
  • A solid understanding of (digital) fulfillment flows and the commercial dynamics behind them
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and data management platforms
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and ideally hands-on knowledge of SQL
  • Ability to independently build dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI
  • Fluency in business English; Dutch language skills are a plus
