Technical Lead (hybrid, office in Amsterdam)

The position:

As our new Technical Lead, your primary responsibility will be to set and oversee the development, implementation, and delivery of Crayon's internal platforms and products. Additionally, you will take the lead in customer-facing workshops and presales activities within Cloud and Data & AI up to creating an SOW (Statement of Work).

Other responsibilities will include

• Collaborate with our Global Software Architects to provide input into the development of software architecture
• Lead customer-facing workshops and manage presales activities up to SOW (Statement of Work)
• Assess code quality by conducting code reviews, and direct the development team in adherence to product specifications and desired user experiences whilst offering your technical expertise to mentor and support the professional growth of our cloud engineers
• Using SCRUM methodologies, you will optimize engineering efficiency by maximizing resources and reducing cost
• Partner with product owners and engineering manager to define technical standards, procedures and refine project functional requirement documentation

Your Competencies

• 2+ years of cloud engineering experience, as well as a software development background
• Experience in software testing, maintenance, and software product launches, in addition to experience in designing and implementing software and/or system design and architecture
• Demonstratable cloud experience, preferably with Azure, working in cloud technologies, cloud computing, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
• Proficiency in cloud governance technologies for cost management, control, and security

• Your leadership qualities mean you are a natural at communication, capable of motivating your team and fostering key relationships at all levels of the organization
• You are naturally curious about all things tech-related, and you ensure that you stay informed with emerging technologies and industry standards
