Finance – the Netherlands

Are you ready to embark on an adventurous journey and explore the world of HEINEKEN? We are excited to announce the launch of our Global Graduate Program – designed to fast track your career and develop you into a future leader at one of the world’s most renowned brands.

About the Program:

Our Global Graduate Program is a three-year path which consists of three rotations, each lasting six months, and will take place within your chosen area in the Netherlands: Finance, Commerce and Supply Chain. After the rotations, you’ll have the opportunity to spend the next 18-months working in a role within your home operating company in the Netherlands.

  • Rotation 1: Set off in the HEINEKEN operating company of application in the Netherlands. Here, you’ll gain a solid foundation in your specific function and an understanding of our operations, strategy, and culture.
  • Rotation 2: Continue with a cross-functional assignment, widening your perspective and understanding of different business areas and how they interconnect.
  • Rotation 3: Broaden your horizons with an international assignment, enhancing your global mindset and cultural adaptability.
  • Landing Role: Now you’ve got all the tools, it’s time for you to apply what you’ve learnt in a management position within the Netherlands. Every day will bring a chance to continue with your growth and development.

About our Finance track

The Finance track offers graduates the chance to make an impact in a financial role that goes beyond numbers to strategic advising. Through three diverse assignments, including one cross-functional—such as optimizing Purchase to Pay, contributing to the Project Management Office (PMO), or strengthening Profit & Loss accountability—you'll gain broad experience across both our supply chain and commercial operations. With significant responsibility, cross-functional collaboration, and dedicated coaching, this program supports both professional and personal growth. Assignment locations could include our supply chain sites and offices in Leiden and Amsterdam.

Criteria & Conditions

  • Education: A finished Master’s degree at the start of the program. Your study background and field of study don’t matter!
  • Work Experience: No specific previous work experience is required! But we are looking specifically for new graduates. That’s a maximum of 1-year post-graduation.
  • Languages: Being comfortable with the Dutch and English language is essential.
  • Work Rights: The right to work in the country of your program is essential.
  • Travel Flexibility: Global exploration can’t happen from home! We require all Explorers to be fully globally mobile.

How to Apply & the Selection Process

  1. Application Submission:
  2. Upload your CV and cover letter through our application portal. The application period is from February 28th till March 23rd.
  3. Online Assessments:
  4. Take the online assessments from March 24th till March 30th. They will be based on situational behaviour scenarios, so no need to prepare anything in advance. A cognitive test is also part of the online assessment.
  5. Interviews:
  6. Upon completing the online assessments, we will be in touch to let you know if your application has been successful. You will then be invited for two interviews in our office in Leiden. We’re aiming to hold these around April 8th till April 25th.
  7. Assessment Centre:
  8. Then it’s time for the in-person assessment centre, where you will participate in various activities and evaluations. We’re planning this for May 9th. Physical presence is required.
