What you'll do

  • Data Collection and Reporting: Collect and organize data related to logistics performance, such as transportation costs, delivery times, inventory levels, and warehouse throughput; Assist in the preparation of regular reports (weekly/monthly) on logistics performance and key performance indicators (KPIs); Use SQL, PBI, Python or other tools to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights
  • Process Analysis: Assist in evaluating logistics processes for inefficiencies or potential improvements; Help track and analyze supply chain metrics (e.g., delivery accuracy, lead times, cost per mile); Support the team in identifying root causes of issues and suggest data-driven solutions
  • Tool and System Support: Support the logistics team in using transportation management software (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems; Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards that track logistics performance
  • Market and Competitive Research: Assist with market research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies that can improve logistics operations; Help prepare comparative analyses of logistics strategies within the industry
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, procurement, sales) to gather relevant data and improve supply chain processes; Work with logistics managers to identify data-driven solutions and opportunities for cost savings or efficiency improvements
  • Project Support: Participate in logistics optimization projects, such as route planning, inventory management, and demand forecasting; Help develop and test models for predicting supply chain performance or identifying cost-saving opportunities

What makes you a good fit

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Power BI and data analytics (e.g., data visualization) and familiar with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R)
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software is a plus
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
  • Communication: Ability to present findings clearly and concisely through reports or presentations
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage large volumes of data and ensure accuracy in reporting
  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, interacting with multiple departments and stakeholders
  • Available for full-time internship starting April 1st 2025
