About this role:

As Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for driving top line growth and optimising profitability across Lieferando’s owned channels -> CRM and In App. Your focus will be on shaping the Business and Brand Strategy and Plans for those channels, to engage and retain customers, driving up frequency, incremental orders and loyalty, while working hand in hand with the CRM Central Team to bring those to life, being the central CRM Team responsible for the channel strategy and execution.

In this role, you will be leading a team of Marketing Managers to drive that key strategic pillar across channels and initiatives, while having an important exposure within senior management to report on performance and budgets. This requires a blend of strategic thinking, data-driven execution, cross-functional collaboration to drive effective and efficient growth while strengthening the value proposition for Lieferando and frequency and stickiness of our customers.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Lead the development and execution of a solid Vision, Strategy & Plan to drive reactivation, engagement & loyalty through CRM & In App channels from a Business and Brand point of view.
  • Increase customer lifetime value and drive frequency through retention platforms and Programs through an “always on” test, learn & adapt approach.
  • Maximise CRM activity to drive reactivation & incr. orders with efficient CPIOs.
  • Budget ownership and full accountability for most part of the Voucher Budget within the Regional Mkt Team, optimise marketing spend to drive the highest return on investment, with a focus on improving CPIO (Cost per incremental Order) while working closely together with the Customer Intelligence Team and CRM Team to shape Strategy & Plans to achieve the above.
  • Responsible for monitoring and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess strategy & initiatives effectiveness.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Deep understanding and experience in marketing, with a strong focus on customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty marketing, ideally in e-commerce, app-based platforms, or consumer-facing businesses.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving user retention and engagement through app-based marketing and optimising in-app features for higher conversion rates.
  • Strong leadership experience in managing and mentoring teams, fostering a high-performance culture, and aligning team goals with business objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven ability to build and execute marketing strategies that resonate specifically with the German audience.
