Innovation Manager Adult and Early Life Nutrition

This role focuses on introducing innovative and specialty ingredients to our existing and new customers in the Adult and Early Life Nutrition segments. What we ask

  • Academic/master level, preferably in Sales, Marketing, Business and background in Nutrition or Food Technology;
  • >10 year international B2B Sales experience in the nutrition or food ingredients industry with a proven track record in Business development (including corporate clients);
  • Comfortable with scientific concepts and terminology;
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships and networks;
  • Working with multi-disciplinary teams;
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

FrieslandCampina Ingredients is looking for an Innovation Business Development Manager to join our Global Business Development team. Having a strong commercial acumen and feeling comfortable with content, you start-up, drive and land projects end-to-end into commercial success at customers. In cooperation with sales, marketing and technical teams, you will manage the pipeline and commercialization of our key innovations. In this role, you will collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to manage the pipeline and commercialization of key innovations. You will take direct responsibility for Innovation Business Development at specific accounts and regions, while also leading overall Innovation Business Development globally. This involves overseeing and coordinating our Business Development efforts to continuously track and improve sales performance of FrieslandCampina Ingredients on our key innovations.

In this position, you play a vital role in our goal of growing our (specialty / innovative) ingredient business at our B2B customers in Adult and Early Life Nutrition.

You will report to the Business Development Director as part of a Global Innovation Business Development team (5), working with our (sales) colleagues in regional sales offices and supported by multi-disciplinary teams (incl Marketing, TSS, R&D, Product management, QA, RA).
