Purpose of the role:

The technical Account manager is directly responsible for managing the technical relationship with the customer - creating a good fit between Trivium products and the customer filling process. This is a customer-oriented team-player and cross functional team coordination role, working across different functions including commercial, operations, quality and R&D to deliver strong value-added technical service to the customer.

Your responsibilities:
  • Coordinates qualification of TRV products at the customer
  • Customer complaint handling: coordinates with the customer and internal with TRV quality team
  • Match customer requirements to TRV (standard) specification.
  • Understand customer technical needs (VOC) and introduce these in the internal TRV organization
  • Consults customers on filling & closing process improvement
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities & drive portfolio optimization
  • Coordinate customer audits at TRV plants
  • Match customer secondary packaging requirements to TRV solution
  • Answer customer questions on sustainability, regulations and other technical topics
  • Gather market intelligence from customer interactions
  • Provide technical documentation to the customer

This role will suit you if you have the following:
  • Extensive technical training in can-making technologies
  • Understanding of key processes such as phase-in-phase-out, complaint handling, qualifications
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in technical/quality service or technical-commercial roles
  • Demonstrated exposure to managing external customer relationships.
  • Proven track record in implementation of process improvement and standardizing way of working
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate work across multiple functions (sales, operations, quality, R&D)
  • Languages – Fluency in local language Italian + fluency in English + fluency in French
  • Strong communication skills – able to work at different organizational levels at both Trivium and the customer
  • Service oriented
  • Strong Analytical skills and knowledge of statistics
  • TRV-customer strategy sensitivity
  • Understands cultural differences.
  • Root-cause problem solving
  • Strong internal networker and able to get things done in a complex network of stakeholders
