To drive, develop, and grow the adidas Teamwear business within the designated account base. This role focuses on servicing accounts by working with grassroots and professional football clubs. The goal is to deliver sustainable team acquisition and service, enabling long-term market share and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Lead for Club AcquisitionCoordinate the acquisition of grassroots clubs in partnership with accounts/stores, enhancing their service levels.
  • Frequently visit accounts, stores, and clubs to maintain relationships.
  • Develop and present tailored range proposals to clubs alongside accounts, including occasional evening meetings.
  • Align with accounts on terms for club acquisition, including discounts, free goods, and payment terms.
  • Actively participate in events related to clubs and accounts.
  • Lead team sales training for accounts and clubs.
  • Represent adidas at local events and activities.
  • Establish yearly activation calendars with clubs and retailers.
  • Set clear targets for existing clubs and identify new clubs and business opportunities
  • Operational Lead for Teamwear CategoryCollaborate closely with the Teamwear CtC Manager, acting as the category champion.
  • Support account management in preparing for seasonal sell-ins, including trade investments, system setup, and range presentations.
  • Business Tracking, Reporting, and AnalysisDrive market share growth within the club portfolio of the account base.
  • Measure business KPIs, including net sales and the number of clubs acquired per period and account/store.
  • Manage order books, ensuring accurate forecasting and conversion.
  • Monitor and report on competitor and account activities, proposing and initiating actions as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of amateur football and local market experience
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills; confident demeanor
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and operational abilities
  • Proven team player with experience working cross-functionally to achieve objectives
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across various functional groups
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication and negotiation
  • Adaptability, initiative, and determination
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and ideally with focus on sales/marketing
  • At least 2 years of sales experience, ideally with a focus on wholesale
  • Experience in the sporting goods, retail, or consumer goods industry
