For our headquarters in Amsterdam, we are looking for a full-time Intern to support our People & Culture (PC) Team. SkyNRG is an advanced scale-up at the forefront of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). SkyNRG has developed into a global leader in SAF, active in countless innovative projects aimed at growing the SAF sector. Scaling a new industry can only be done by working collaboratively with all relevant stakeholders: airlines, airports, technology developers, producers, suppliers, governments, NGOs, and academics.

About the role

SkyNRG is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated People & Culture intern to join our team. As a People & Culture intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic, rapidly growing work environment. You will be involved in various People and Culture processes and projects, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of different aspects of the People and Culture field.

Your responsibilities:

  • Support the People & Culture department in daily operational tasks, such as drafting employment contracts, maintaining employee records, and processing changes in the HR information system.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including writing job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling job interviews and updating the Applicant Tracking System (Teamtailor).
  • Contribute to the onboarding process for new employees, including organizing introduction programs and arranging necessary facilities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of People & Culture policies and procedures. Actively participate in People & Culture related projects, such as DE&I, supporting CSR topics, optimizing the Employee Handbook, facilitating the SkyAcademy, and the onboarding program.

Your profile

As a growing company in a rapidly developing industry, we are looking for someone who likes to play an active role in building out our business and is not afraid of change. Ideally, you recognize yourself in the following:

  • You must be enrolled in an HBO or university program for the entire duration of your internship.
  • Currently pursuing a relevant degree at the HBO or university level, such as Human Resource Management, Personnel Sciences, or Work and Organizational Psychology.
  • Remain a student for the duration of the internship, with graduation expected at the end of the internship.
  • Strong interest in the People & Culture field and a desire to gain practical experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Proactive, independent, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with Dutch as a plus
