Marketing Intern

The purpose of Futurewhiz is all about empowering every child to grow through personalized education, with help of the most fun learning products. Did reading this put a smile on your face? Then you might be the one we are searching for!

We are looking for a WO/HBO student to help the Marketing Team of Futurewhiz to increase the impact we make with our learning products (Squla & StudyGo) and all that is related. The internship is 3 days a week for a period of 6 months.

Futurewhiz (the maker of learning products Squla, StudyGo and scoyo) is the Dutch market leader in online education for children. On our platforms, more than a million children, parents and teachers interact. We aim to provide digital, personalized education and learning, in order to positively enhance children's learning experiences, and improve their overall confidence.

What will you do during this internship?

We are searching for a Marketing Intern that can support the Marketing Team with various activities. Within marketing, we have a Brand, Performance and Retention team. During this internship, you get the opportunity to learn about all the different Marketing disciplines. Activities include:

• Writing newsletters and blogs
• Social media: create engaging content about learning, parenting and our platforms
• Maintaining and updating web pages in Wordpress for the websites of Squla and StudyGo
• Updating email flows for leads
• Supporting activities for campaigns, such as updating offers, order handling, creating images
• Various other activities, such as sending goodies, brainstorming on new campaigns, support in briefings, etc.

Who are you?

You are a proactive person, looking for a chance to develop your skills and have a keen interest in all things related to digital learning, marketing and communication, including:

• You are a student in Marketing / Communication / Social Science / Business (WO/HBO level)
• You are a good communicator and easily familiarize yourself with new digital tools
• You are Native / Fluent both reading and writing Dutch and also have strong English writing and speaking skills
• You have a proactive, enthusiastic and open attitude, and are eager to learn new things
• You are flexible, creative and solution oriented
• Futurewhiz’ office is near the Amstelstation in Amsterdam, so it would be convenient if you live closeby
• You understand that we are a scale up. This means that we don’t have a fixed process for everything, your day will not always go as you plan it in the morning, and that there are a lot of opportunities!
