Do you want to work in a dynamic, international environment where you will be part of innovative projects that shape tomorrow’s digital world? If so, come join us!

WE ARE INNOPAY, a consultancy firm part of Oliver Wyman and specialised in digital transactions since 2002. With our roots in payment innovation (e.g. co-creating iDEAL), we have gone from strength to strength into the domains of digital identity and data sharing. Today, our services cover the entire strategic, product development and operational spectrum of our clients’ business. We work with them on their (new) business models, the technology they deploy, and the way they respond to local and international regulations. From our offices in Amsterdam and Frankfurt, together with Oliver Wyman, we serve organisations all over the world and shape their most transformative moments.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR INTERNS that tick the following boxes:

  • Enrolled in a master's degree programme in a relevant subject area, as well as engagement in extracurricular activities;
  • Affinity with topics such as digital innovation, digital transformation, payments, digital identity, open banking, blockchain, artificial intelligence, etc. (content-related experience is not required);
  • Confident appearance and strong communication skills;
  • A team player, who enjoys working in an interdisciplinary and international environment;
  • Excellent skills in using MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel);
  • Fluency in English is a must, in Dutch or German preferred.

Note: Cover letter must include details on the thesis: research question, short theoretical framework and methodology outline, and an explanation why and how INNOPAY can help with this topic.

AS A THESIS INTERN, you will dive into one of the topics INNOPAY specializes in, for example data sharing, payments, digital identity, or open finance. An INNOPAY Consultant will be your coach to help you develop your research direction, develop your knowledge, and create relevant connections for your research. As an intern, you have the opportunity to get to know INNOPAY from the inside, join trainings and other events. Your thesis can be used as a fundament for knowledge inside INNOPAY by presenting the results at the end of the internship period. We’ll make sure you are well prepared to complete these activities by providing both dedicated off-the-job and on-the-job training and coaching.

WE OFFER you a flexible and open (hybrid) working environment where you will be part of innovative projects with true impact. We have a flat and agile organisation structure and a culture that is characterised by our four core values: collaboration, ownership, forward thinking and, above all, customer focus. We believe in personalised growth rather than a fixed career path, and therefore provide ongoing support through career coaching and a personal development plan starting with our one-year, tailor-made, knowledge, and skill curriculum. Compensation is fair and performance based. We are open to a full-time employment after the successful completion of your studies.

Also, we rank fun very high, which is reflected by our weekly Friday evening drinks, our high-energy off-sites, multiple sporting events, our annual ski trip, a family X-mas party and more!

INNOPAY, a business of Oliver Wyman, is a leading consultancy specialized in digital transactions. INNOPAY helps companies anywhere in the world harness the potential of our digital era in the domains of digital payments, open finance, digital identity, and data sharing. Their deep expertise can support clients from strategy to execution, from client propositions and the technologies they deploy, to facilitating collaboration across stakeholders and helping clients navigate complex regulations.
