International Card Services (ICS) is a 100% subsidiary of ABN AMRO Bank N.V. with its own independent bank license. ICS is a payment service provider and market leader in issuing credit cards in the Netherlands, with a subsidiary in Germany. We have been issuing, promoting, administrating, and processing payments of Visa and Mastercard credit cards for over 30 years. ICS issues credit cards both under its own brand and in conjunction with co-branding partners, for both Consumer and Commercial clients. In addition, we offer various other financial services and products. As Head of Change Management Office, you will take ownership of strategic and regulatory change (ICS Change Portfolio). You will lead the team of, a.o. program/project/portfolio/implementation managers and implement the new ‘stage gate’ change management process across ICS. You will be part of the MT Products Solutions & Control and report to the Chief Products Solutions & Control.

Your job

You will play a vital role in shaping the required knowledge and capabilities needed for a newly created team to deal with the aforementioned dynamics. In this pioneering stage, you will be responsible for:

  • Shaping and setting up this new domain, which will consist of, a.o. portfolio managers, program & (IT) project managers, implementation managers, and PMO.
  • Lead and motivate teams, and cultivate a culture of Courage, Care, and Collaboration, encouraging teams to innovate and challenge the status quo.
  • Defining and embedding a consistent and effective way of working and methodology (change gate process for change initiatives) and actively managing the integral ICS change portfolio. Facilitating and organizing priority setting for the Change Portfolio in the ICS Change Board.
  • Introducing and implementing the new ‘stage gate’ change management process within the new organizational design.
  • Balancing strategic- and regulatory requirements.
    The desired outcome of this new role is a stream-lined and efficient change management process with an effective coordination of the execution of change and resource planning.

Your profile

We are looking for an experienced leader who has earned her/his spurs in the areas of change management and payments/credit within a banking or financial organization or within consultancy in these areas. Do you think you fit in with us? Check your profile:

  • 10 - 15 years of experience in Consulting/Financial Services/Payments.
  • Experience with change management and the agile way of working.
  • Experience with managing a diverse and highly experienced team.
  • Excellent communication skills (both in Dutch and English) to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely to different audiences, including senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrates resilience and adaptability, steering the team through challenges, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Demonstrates risk awareness and decision-making capabilities, excels in stakeholder management, and embodies the organization's core values.
  • Demonstrates ownership by taking responsibility for one's actions, decisions, and their consequences, demonstrating accountability and commitment towards achieving goals or resolving issues.
