As our UX Lead, you’ll be responsible for driving the user experience strategy for the Effectory platform. You’ll lead the design efforts for our suite of feedback solutions that enable organizations to listen, learn, and act on insights to create better working environments. With clients ranging from 500 to 500,000 employees across a wide variety of sectors, our platform must provide an intuitive and seamless user experience for a diverse range of users—from office workers to factory staff and offshore teams.

Your main focus will be on leading and mentoring the UX team, setting a vision for product design that ensures our software is user-friendly, accessible, and role-based, providing each user with a tailored experience. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders across Product, Development, and Localization to ensure a cohesive and innovative approach to UX design.

You’ll be part of the Product & Tech Team and work closely with product owners, developers, and our leadership team, reporting to the Chief Product Officer (CPO).

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Lead the UX strategy and execution for the Effectory platform, ensuring that all products offer an exceptional and intuitive user experience.
  • Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept development to final execution, ensuring seamless UX/UI and a consistent product experience.
  • Mentor and guide the UX team, providing leadership and feedback to foster professional growth and creativity.
  • Advocate for user-centered design at the executive level, effectively communicating the value of design in achieving business results.
  • Collaborate closely with product management,Product Owners and other stakeholders to prioritize features and design initiatives based on both user needs and business objectives.
  • Design and validate prototypes and user flows to ensure that solutions meet both user needs and business requirements.
  • Oversee the development of user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to guide design decisions.
  • Ensure that user testing and research are integrated into the design process, incorporating user feedback and data-driven insights.
  • Maintain and evolve Effectory’s design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across our platform.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our user experience.

THIS IS YOU

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in UX design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • You have a proven track record in leading UX design for SaaS platforms or complex digital products (we would love to see your portfolio).
  • Strong knowledge of UX/UI best practices, design systems, and user-centered design principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey design rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You are highly organized, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in an agile environment.
  • You thrive in a collaborative, self-managed environment and bring a high degree of initiative, responsibility, and leadership.
  • You have experience with design tools such as Figma
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
