AKD is a full-service Benelux law firm with over 550 lawyers, tax advisors, notaries, and support staff in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. You will become part of the Recruitment team, which consists of 3 Corporate Recruiters (2 for our legal vacancies, 1 for our Support departments) and 4 Campus Recruiters (working students focused on starting legal professionals). This team has ambitious goals, striving for refreshment, action, and results in a positive and cooperative atmosphere! One of our Corporate Recruiters is transitioning internally to a new role in the HR team, creating this opportunity for you. We ask you to position yourself as a true Business Partner and to support all branches before, during, and after recruitment procedures.

Wat ga jij doen?

As a Corporate Recruiter, you will be responsible for recruiting and selecting starters and experienced lawyers, tax advisors, candidate notaries, and paralegals. Key tasks include:

  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle and optimizing the candidate journey.
  • Recruiting and selecting legal professionals using the right channels and building and maintaining talent pools.
  • Actively and creatively thinking about labor market and social media campaigns and innovative recruitment methods to attract the right talent to AKD.
  • Serving as the point of contact for hiring managers, recruitment agencies, and candidates, guiding everyone involved transparently through the recruitment process.
  • Advising proactively on how Recruitment can contribute to the firm's strategy, including topics like Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI), sustainability, and/or training.
  • Stakeholder management is a key part of your role; you adapt your communication style to your contacts and enjoy discussing and challenging ideas within our partner organization.

Job requirements

The ideal candidate for this position

  • Has at least a completed bachelor's or master's degree.
  • Brings solid experience and a proven track record in recruitment delivery.
  • Possesses a strong personality, excellent communication skills, persuasion, and comfort in a large professional service organization with high expectations and freedom. Humor and the ability to put things into perspective are a plus.
  • Is a true business partner in Recruitment.
  • Has experience with LinkedIn Recruiter Seat and enjoys actively searching for suitable candidates.

Based on a 40-hour workweek, we offer a primary salary between €3800 and €5732. Depending on your experience, education level, and the interview process, we will make you an attractive offer after a positive selection process. From your first working day, you can start with your own training program, which you can assemble yourself on our extensive and professional (online) learning platform.

You will mainly work from our office in Rotterdam with an amazing view of the city; however, regular travel to our six different offices in the Benelux is part of your standard duties.
