The Rookie Program

Start date 1st of February ‘25 until 30th of June ‘25

In order to be eligible for an internship you must be:

Enrolled in a Dutch University (not online) in a Bachelor or a Master for the entire duration of the program (full 5 months) AND be an EU citizen passport holder OR a Non-EU Citizen studying in the Netherlands (Internship should be then a mandatory part of your curriculum).

As an Under Armour intern, you'll have the opportunity to play a crucial role in bringing our mission and vision to life through a hands-on project that challenges you to develop new skills and push boundaries. This strategic project will test your skills and help you challenge the status quo, making a real business impact during your 5-month internship.

Alongside this project, you'll work closely with a mentor and cross-functional teams, gaining valuable global exposure and collaborating with talented professionals from across the company. With access to executive Q&A sessions and personalized guidance from our talent advisors, you'll be well-equipped to tackle any challenge that comes your way.

Our internship program is designed to provide a holistic understanding of the Under Armour brand. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in our Teammate Resource Groups, where you can share experiences, build relationships, and grow as a team. You will also step inside the exciting world of retail and explore the fast-paced environment that keeps our customers coming back for more.

Purpose of Role

The scope of this project is to contribute to the digital transformation of the planning processes by supporting on the mapping of cross-functional processes. The successful candidate is expected to create and validate documentation (process maps, RACIs, and others) that will later be used to drive process improvements.

Your Impact

  • Conduct online and offline meetings to document cross-functional tasks and processes (process maps, RACIs, others).
  • (Optional) Assist guiding teammates in the validation and testing phase of new planning solutions by participating in data analysis and process improvement initiatives.
  • (Optional) Aid in the configuration, setup, and day-to-day operational support of the new planning software, ensuring its effective use across teams.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in digital transformation, project management, or a related business field.
  • A keen understanding of business processes including sales, inventory management, supply chain management.
  • Understanding of programming languages such as R, Python or SQL is a plus.
  • Knowledge of process maps and RACIs.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent presentation skills in PowerPoint and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships.
