The Rookie Program

Start date: 1st of February ‘25 until 30th of June ‘25

Eligibility

To be eligible for an internship, you must be:

  • Enrolled in a Dutch University (not online) in a Bachelor or a Master for the entire duration of the program (full 5 months)
  • An EU citizen passport holder OR a Non-EU Citizen studying in the Netherlands (Internship should then be a mandatory part of your curriculum)

Alongside this project, you'll work closely with a mentor and cross-functional teams, gaining valuable global exposure and collaborating with talented professionals from across the company. Purpose of Role

TEAM CONTEXT:

The EMEA Pricing Team is responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies across the EMEA region. Key responsibilities include price architecture design, competitor analysis, defining optimal discount levels, price administration within company systems, and managing conversion rules. This internship will provide the rookie with an opportunity to assist in these tasks while also leading a strategic project focused on competitor pricing.

STRATEGIC PROJECT:

The focus of the rookie project will be to analyze competitor pricing and portfolio price architectures across key wholesale channels in the region. The rookie will be tasked with gathering and synthesizing pricing data using an external data platform and providing actionable insights to inform the company's pricing strategy. The project scope includes insights into price structures, tiers, and discount patterns of competitors across key channels as well as developing pricing insights and recommendations to ensure that the company maintains a competitive edge.

Deliverables

  • A comprehensive competitor price analysis report, including visual data presentations such as graphs, tables, and pricing models
  • Recommendations on price architecture refinements based on competitor insights
  • A presentation of the findings and recommendations to the relevant stakeholders

Your Impact

  • Drive Insights: Conduct competitor analysis to provide actionable insights that influence our pricing architecture and ensure our offerings remain competitive.
  • Support Strategic Decisions: Help define optimal price points and discount levels for key promotional and sale periods, directly contributing to revenue optimization.
  • Enhance Pricing Accuracy: Assist in managing and updating pricing data across multiple channels, ensuring that prices are accurately reflected in our systems.
  • Learn and Grow: Gain hands-on experience in data analysis, pricing tools, and systems, while learning from experienced professionals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Student in a Bachelor's or Master’s program in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related discipline)
  • Ability to analyze data and extract actionable insights.
  • Advanced skills in Excel (familiarity with Power Query is a plus)
  • Comfort with large datasets and attention to detail in data interpretation
  • Experience with Tableau/SQL/Snowflake is a plus but candidate must have a proactive attitude toward acquiring new skills in these areas
  • Organized, capable of managing multiple tasks, and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
